Join Rafael Meadows neighbors of all ages for a sweet gathering on the Saturday before Easter at 10 am. Doughnuts and coffee will be provided by SRMIA, as well as lox and bagels!
The Meadows Mile starts at 9:30 am at the SMART Training pedestrian crossing - run, walk, bike, scoot or skate around the neighborhood, and meet the rest of us at Las Huertas Court (midway up Las Gallinas Ave.).
Bring the little ones and search for the eggs (each yard has a different age range), and visit with the Big Bunny himself!
NOTE: Rain cancels the event. Fingers crossed!

Lots of spooky decorations, more than I've seen in years.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to neighborhood "activist" David Santschi who led a team of five volunteers to clean up Merrydale Road on September 25th!
David reports:
"We picked up trash on Merrydale, cleaned out the area around the neighborhood sign, and cut down brush along the fence of the Merrydale dirt parking lot, which people often use to hide things and themselves.
We cut up the brush and ended up filling five compost toters. I came back on my own last Sunday to finish cleaning up the curb and sidewalk around the neighborhood sign."
